Behind EPOS’ H3PRO Hybrid’s Long-Running Success

Audio brand EPOS continues to turn up the volume in the gaming audio industry with the widely praised H3PRO Hybrid headset. Our work for the initial launch in November 2021 garnered critical acclaim from several top-tier media. The hype didn’t end there as we facilitated the launch of its new colors in April 2022 and brought the H3PRO Hybrid back into the media spotlight.

Pre-pitching was essential for building excitement for the H3PRO Hybrid last fall. We shipped out over 20 units four weeks prior to launch to give writers ample time to truly experience the product. Thanks to our expansive outreach ahead of the launch, we secured seven reviews on release day, including an 8/10 from tech titan The Verge.

In April, we revamped our pitching strategies and expanded outreach to bring a new surge of media interest alongside the color launch. These new colors added sleek customization options to an already awesome headset. Alongside a new bundle of reviews from media, we also placed news coverage of the color launch with 10 outlets, including the popular Bleeding Cool.

Earned influencers were also a crucial part of our H3PRO Hybrid campaign. We knew the headset was packed with features that presented well in a video format. We pitched a slew of tech YouTubers and secured in-depth reviews from TheTechne, EBPMAN Tech Reviews and GadgetryTech.
