Taking a PR Deep Dive into the Murky World of SILT

In a time of prequels and sequels, it’s refreshing to work on something unique that stands out from the same genres we see year after year. UK-based publisher Fireshine Games and developer Spiral Circus Games did not disappoint with SILT. We sunk deep into this one to help launch the artist-inspired puzzler just in time for summer on all platforms.

Early reception to SILT, the underwater monochromatic puzzle game, was positive as fans were drawn to its dark, creepy atmosphere and incredible hand-drawn art. And after being showcased on Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase the hype train picked up some speed.

Building off that momentum, we targeted select media and influencers that we knew would appreciate this indie puzzler, highlighting the game’s artistic inspiration and it being the developer’s first game. Securing reviews and launch news with Game Informer, Nintendo World Report, Kotaku, PC Invasion and The Escapist in addition to Let’s Play videos by Alpha Beta Gamer and Relyea, our SILT campaign helped propel the game to a successful launch heading into summer.
