Launching Control, The Latest AAA Project from 505 Games and Remedy Entertainment

Remedy Entertainment has long been known for creating gaming’s most surreal, story-driven third-person action games since its first instant classic with Max Payne. Being fans of Remedy, you can imagine how far our jaws dropped when we learned our friends at 505 Games were taking the publishing reins on the studio’s latest AAA project, Control. We’ve already had an insane year working with 505 Games on the critically-acclaimed Bloodstained and upcoming indie powerhouses Indivisible and Journey to the Savage PlanetControl is simply the cherry on top!

Since announcing the game last year on Sony’s E3 stage, Control’s stunning visuals and flat-out insane sci-fi story have been captivating media and influencers at every turn. With major presences at multiple PAXs, E3s and Gamescom, Control was a clear front-runner for game of the year awards and widespread hype. Supporting this massive project took heaps of planning, smart execution and flat-out hard work. There has been a bevy of major wins and lessons learned, and we’ve been at 505 Games’ side throughout the entire process, ensuring it gets the support it needs, right up until and beyond launch.

That’s right folks, launch! Control is officially on store shelves, and the reviews from media and influencers are o.u.t. out of this world. We’ve been working behind-the-scenes for weeks, keeping the review process as simple and streamlined as possible for everyone involved. As you can imagine, this is quite the endeavor for a AAA game from one of the industry’s most beloved developers. We handled hundreds of requests (and they’re still coming in!), all while juggling scheduling interviews and feature story opportunities.

Control is one of those rare games we feel has long legs post-launch in terms of media and influencer interest. We can’t reveal too much yet as plans are still being ironed out, but we have big things coming on the interview and feature stories front and we’re ecstatic to continue locking those in for our partners in the months to come.

For now, though, take a look at some of the incredible reviews we secured for Control with some of the top gaming, tech and entertainment outlets:
