Continued Success for Legacy Audio Company EPOS

For almost 75 years, the Sennheiser brand has become synonymous with high-end consumer audio equipment. Recently, the co-branded EPOS | SENNHEISER de-merged into a new gaming audio company. For the past several months, we’ve had the amazing opportunity to work with the brand in a new space for the company – video game audio. In this short time, we’ve boosted not only EPOS’s coverage of impressive products, but are helping establish the brand as a viable gaming audio hardware contender in a competitive market.

Pulling from two decades of tech and gaming industry experience, we kicked off our relationship with EPOS | SENNHEISER by launching the GSP 370 wireless gaming headset. Through carefully tailored outreach and messaging, we hit up a myriad of top-tier gaming, “geek” and tech media contacts across North America who jumped at the opportunity to check out its 100-hour battery life promise.

Our efforts locked in reviews and “best gaming headset” roundups with not only tech and consumer media, but also targeted hardcore gaming outlets with loyal communities. Similarly, we increased exposure through earned tech and gaming influencer promotions, securing giveaway opportunities, impressions videos and other content. We also tapped our esports know-how to help announce partnerships between EPOS | SENNHEISER and organizations BLAST Premiere, North Esports and SK Gaming.

Now eight months after the GSP 370 launch, the headset is a core legacy product for EPOS and we continue to focus our efforts on carefully targeted pitching for reviews and round-up inclusion, giveaways, and influencer content. Our ongoing review campaign, which now includes other EPOS audio products, still consistently rears new coverage, reviews and influencer interest – a significant achievement in the fast-moving, competitive tech sphere.
