Team Wonacott Wins by Knock Out at GDC

When we realized four of our friends attending GDC, dolphins were punched we put on our gloves and got straight to work. The goal: Media. Meetings. Coverage. (Oh, and maybe get lost on the craziness of the show floor while checking out some kick-ass VR stuff, too? Just maybe).

Standing in one corner, sharp as a shooter, deadlier than a raging lunatic behind a death mobile we had Sold Out at the Moscone Convention Center showing off Sniper Elite 4, Beyond: Flesh and Blood, and Unbox.

They also partnered with Stainless Games to show the monstrosity of Carmageddon: Max Damage at the Marriott Marquis. Media members came to the suite and had a blast running over pedestrians and blowing up other vehicles.

4:33 Creative Lab took a swing at the Marriot Marquis as well! The company showed off some killer upcoming mobile games set to launch this year: Seven Guardians, Lost Kingdom, and Mega Punch. The media was hyped to check out the sweet games they had to offer.

And lastly, Brightlocker killed it with its interviews last week and racked up ALL of the bonus points of having the Wonacotters and our media connections in their corner. The new crowdpublishing platform kept the crowd on the edge of their seats with its ideas and upcoming mobile game, Light Eaters.

The media were in awe with the spectacular games and events at GDC. As much as we’d like to take ALL the credit for the event, we can’t. So we’ll take a majority of the credit. In all seriousness, shout out to our partners for developing some remarkable games and memorable appearances.
