Buying Into The Hype – Taking Nexon America’s Hyper Universe From Early Access To Global Launch

When the Wonacott team first learned about Hyper Universe, we immediately knew it possessed some serious potential. This action-packed side-scrolling MOBA/brawler hybrid, developed by Nexon America and Cwavesoft, was certainly unique enough to find its own niche in the world of PC gaming. One would think that an experience such as Hyper Universe, with its […]

Situation Overview The Wonacott team was tasked to plan, organize and execute a comprehensive media outreach campaign for 505 Games’ Last Day of June, the poignant, painterly and beautiful tale of love and loss. Connected Gaming Week – May 22

As we prepare for Memorial Day weekend, we’re sad to say that this is our final Connected Gaming Week. Although sending out our final newsletter feels bittersweet, we set a goal six years ago to get the word out on online and multiplayer games at a time when such titles weren’t getting a lot of attention – but thankfully, the industry has changed and genuinely embraced connected gaming in a big way. And so, for one final time, we sign off – thanks, as always, for reading Connected Gaming Week. Please feel free to follow Wonacott PR on Twitter, Facebook, and on our official blog for more game industry, PR and marketing insights.

Believe it or not, Scotland has a long and distinguished history of game development, which we can sum up in three words: Grand Theft Auto. And many of the region’s veteran development talent now call Kobojo home.

The conference started yesterday and runs through this Thursday at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, Calif. Our own PR Guy Jason Wonacott will be there for a session on VR and AR in gaming and beyond. Alongside industry gurus from LOOT Interactive, Digital Domain, and Greenlight VR, Jason will be moderating the panel, which is a part of the virtual and augmented reality summit. Our client, uSens (check out their Kickstarter!), represented by Dr. Yue Fei, the company’s CTO and creator of Impression Pi, will be headlining the panel.
