Every multiplayer gamer has a favourite map they like to play on. Mine is “Facing Worlds” from the original Unreal Tournament. It's a Capture The Flag map on which two colossal towers stand at either end of a diamond-shaped asteroid.

With National Hispanic Heritage Month closing out yesterday, and as a 2nd-generation Mexican-American myself, I thought it’d be a great idea to skip the history report about the difference between Cinco de Mayo and Mexican Independence Day, and talk about what it’s like to be a Hispanic/Latina millennial and consumer in 2013 – all rolled into one. Call of Duty: Ghosts will introduce a new type of hybrid AI-and-human multiplayer experience called Squads. First, a player forms their own Squad, a group of soldiers with varying perks and load-outs designed to support a certain play style. This squad then levels up and progresses as the player unlocks XP throughout the various Squad-centric multiplayer modes. All of the XP earned in each of these Squad modes can then carry over to the multiplayer experience proper.
